Vega Abrasives are produced by Merpas A.S.. Merpas is part of a group of companies that are controlled by the Alpan family. Our group of companies generate revenues exceeding 25 million Euros every year.

Abrasives division was established in 1996 and commenced production the same year with Italian know-how. In 2010, the company moved its premises to its current location in Istanbul, Turkey.

Since then, Vega has produced high quality abrasives for marble, terrazzo, granite and porcelanato industries. Vega Abrasives is currently among the most sought after abrasive brands in Turkey.

In 2003, production of Vega 5 Extra started after extensive research and development. Vega 5 Extra became an instant hit with local abrasive users with its excellent polishing properties, long life and competitive prices.
